Due to the aging process certain characteristics make each board very
unique (each board can be subject to but not limited to have distinct character markings, holes, or axe
markings). Our authentic materials are from the 18th century. Your ancestors worked hard using their hand tools
creating todays antique cabins, flooring, and barns.
The appearance and color of these preserved pieces can be drastically
changed by adding a finish such as stain, polyurethane, tongue oil, etc... These applications can help bring out the woods
grain and the patina for authenticity.
